Manager refusing to wear a mask during a pandemic - enough said! EDIT: I was there the other day when he was with a customer who had on a mask and she asked why he wasn't wearing his and he said because we're both vaccinated, I guess he doesn't realize the vaccine doesn't prevent you 100% from getting covid, you can still get and carry it even fully vaxed, it keeps you from getting terribly sick and dying . He put himself and the other customer at risk and they could take covid home and spread it to un vaccinated members of their families. So I figured if he is too stupid to realize that then he isn't smart enough to work on my car, and I left and went elsewhere! The old manager guy was better!
Not sure what happened here, but I would like to clarify our stance on the pandemic, and wearing masks. We take this very, very seriously. Our entire staff has been vaccinated, and has been issued masks and buffs. We have a sign posted on the door asking all who enter to wear a mask. Our service advisors have been instructed to wear masks in the presence of others. We do spend a lot of time on the telephone and when alone, may remove our masks for efficiency. We offer complete contactless service, appointment, dropoff, pickup, payment. We clean cars thoroughly upon request for at-risk customers. The bottom line is, though it may be inconvenient at times, if it can possibly prevent the spread of COVID or save a life, it's worth it!
